Eisha developed a keen interest in physical therapy as she witnessed her father undergo rigorous physical therapy for the treatment of a patellar fracture as he got back to the life he loved, during her teenage years. She earned her Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Physical Therapy from SBB College of Physiotherapy, Gujarat, India. Eisha was inspired to pursue a Master’s Degree in Cognitive and Movement Rehabilitation Science from the University of Texas at Austin. Eisha served there as a teaching assistant for undergraduate students in Human Physiology, participated in research projects related to shoulder pathology and stroke, and learned about the basics of Electromyography and Nerve Conduction Velocity. After her first semester, she transferred to Dallas Baptist University to attain a Master’s Degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Physiology.
Eisha has treated patients of all age groups and various musculoskeletal, neurological, and cardiopulmonary conditions. She loves working with the elderly population to help address gait and balance issues as well as weekend warriors that have ankle/foot, shoulder or low back pain. As a physical therapist, Eisha believes that every person has a story, and her motto is to understand the patient first and connect with them on a personal level to achieve the best outcome. Her approach to treating patients focuses on helping the patient improve holistically, while unleashing their highest potential.
Apart from this, you can catch Eisha enjoying a dessert at a local café, dancing her heart out to Bollywood music, chilling at a beach, or burning those calories at the gym. She is a big people person and loves to hang out with her friends and family.
