Dr. Ebe Carbone is a licensed physical therapist based in New York, with over 19 years of experience specializing in women’s health and pelvic floor rehabilitation. Originally from Brazil, she holds a PhD in Health Sciences with a focus on Gynecology, along with certifications in pelvic floor dysfunction and pulmonology. Her clinical expertise includes managing complex pelvic health conditions such as neurogenic bladder, pre- and post-operative gynecological care, oncology rehabilitation, and providing specialized care for pregnant and postpartum women.
In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Carbone spent 13 years as a university professor and program coordinator, where she developed curricula and led clinical education programs. She has made significant academic contributions through 16 peer-reviewed publications and 77 conference presentations. Her approach to care evidence-based protocol development, and close collaboration with interdisciplinary teams in obstetrics, gynecology, oncology, and neurology.
Outside of her professional work, Dr. Carbone is deeply committed to education and continuous learning. She actively mentors emerging professionals, participates in research groups, and maintains a strong self-care practice. In her personal life, she enjoys traveling, exploring new places, appreciating the arts, reading, dancing, and spending quality time with family and friends. She also enjoys experimenting with new cooking recipes that allows her to connect with diverse cultures, express mindfulness, and bring balance to both her life and her professional practice.
