Physical Therapist - PT, DPT

Dylan Love, PT, DPT

Westchester - Pleasantville (Athletes Warehouse)

Dylan Love received his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Stony Brook University. During his time at school, Dylan participated in multiple outreach to aid in injury prevention and risk for baseball players by testing strength, range of motion, and development of personalized programs. Dylan also volunteered time with patients diagnosed with Parkinson’s’ disease in a program called “Rock Steady Boxing.” This program gave individuals a unique way to manage their fitness levels with the use of large-amplitude, full-body movements.

During Dylan’s clinical affiliations, he had the opportunity to work with an extensive population as he had one acute care affiliation but was predominantly exposed to the orthopedic outpatient and sports populations during his time.

Dylans’ initial interest in physical therapy was sparked by a lower back injury that occurred during baseball in his junior year of high school. While doing rehab for the injury he was able to start learning about what physical therapy entails and the importance that physical therapy plays when returning to sport. He was able to return to baseball and play at the collegiate level for Franklin Pierce University where he earned his bachelor’s degree in Health Science. Ultimately his love for baseball and exercise helped him find a passion in the prevention of injuries as well as the rehabilitation process to get people back to their daily lives to the fullest of their capabilities in a holistic and functional way.

In his spare time, Dylan enjoys watching sports, strength training, hiking, traveling, trying new foods, and spending time with his family and friends
