Destiny earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from New York Medical College and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from SUNY Old Westbury. Her academic journey has provided her with a solid foundation in movement science and clinical reasoning, which she applies thoughtfully in her patient care.
Destiny’s clinical rotations have exposed her to a variety of practice settings, including inpatient acute care, outpatient orthopedics, and neurological rehabilitation. She has had the privilege of working with diverse patient populations, from children to older adults, and has developed a strong appreciation for the individualized approach that each patient deserves. Her hands-on experience in these rotations has deepened her understanding of evidence-based practice and strengthened her commitment to helping others achieve their functional goals.
In addition to her clinical work, Destiny volunteers and serves as a team lead with community-based initiatives, where she enjoys connecting with people from all walks of life. She is passionate about incorporating a fun and engaging approach to movement and enjoys trying new fitness classes, practicing yoga, hiking, and discovering new foods and desserts. Destiny is excited to continue growing as a physical therapist and making a positive impact in her patients’ lives.
