Deirdre received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy and Bachelor of Science in Health Science Studies at Quinnipiac University. During her time there, Deidre participated in a physical therapy program, which served community members who had socioeconomic challenges. Deirdre went on to present her research at the American Physical Therapy Association, regarding the correlation of lower extremity strength and fall risk in persons with Multiple Sclerosis.
During her academic experience, Deirdre worked in acute care and hands-on outpatient orthopedic clinics, which fostered her passion in these fields. Deirdre enjoys working with patients of all ages to help them reach their goals and return to the things that they love to do. Deidre focuses on optimizing her patient’s care by individualizing her programs and therapy to ensure that patients have the tools they need to continue their progress outside of the clinic.
Deirdre loves to expand her knowledge to further assist her patient’s return to optimal health. Recently, Deidre completed the Rocktape’s Functional Movement Specialist program to help patients to return to any functional movement they wish to improve. In her free time, Deirdre enjoys taking outdoor walks, going to the beach, traveling, and participating in spin classes.
