Daniela received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Mercy College in Dobbs Ferry, NY, after receiving her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Seton Hall University in South Orange, NJ. Her passion for the profession began after volunteering at an outpatient clinic, where she saw firsthand how Physical Therapy can improve a patient’s overall quality of life. It was here that she got to experience the journey of helping an individual return to doing what he or she loves. She hopes to continue to make positive impacts in her patients and community.
Before working at Spear, Daniela worked as a student in a variety of clinical settings including two outpatient orthopedic clinics, as well as the ICU and the pediatrics department at two hospitals in NJ. She also completed a certification in LSVT – Big, an individualized treatment for Parkinson’s Disease that helps address impairments in walking, balance, activities of daily living, and overall movement in this patient population.
Daniela is a NJ native, but her proximity to the city has always given her the opportunity to explore the endless possibilities and attractions NYC has to offer. In her spare time, Daniela enjoys the outdoors, hiking, and biking, spending time with her family and friends, learning about new cultures and foods, and traveling.
