Dana obtained her Bachelors in Human Biology at Hunter College and furthered her studies at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University, earning her Bachelors of Science and Doctorate of Physical Therapy.
Dana was awarded the Samuel B. Feitelberg Award for Academic and Clinical Excellence after finishing her clinical affiliations at multiple sites specializing in inpatient acute care, outpatient orthopedics, geriatrics, and pediatrics. She pursued the profession of physical therapy with the motivation to improve the well-being and independence of her patients. Dana prioritizes the application of evidence-based practice with prior experience as a research assistant at Hunter College studying the role of an anti-inflammatory supplement, curcumin, in the neurogenesis of cells in the hippocampus, as well as how it affects this region’s associated functions, such as spatial navigation and memory.
Outside the clinic, she enjoys going on her 10,000-step walks at her favorite park, traveling abroad to explore cultures and food, as well as learning new baking recipes in the kitchen with her personal twist!
We pride ourselves on providing the most personalized physical therapy experience—setting a new standard of care that combines best-in-class clinical care with a patient-first mindset.
