Daisy received her Bachelor of Arts in Dance and Holistic Health from Chapman University and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from San Diego State University. Her pelvic floor certifications come from the highly regarded Herman & Wallace Institute. Before pursuing physical therapy, she attended Santa Barbara Body Therapy Institute to become a certified massage therapist, where she later taught massage coursework.
Daisy has clinical experience in dance medicine with Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, outpatient orthopedics, pelvic floor therapy, and acute care. While her passion lies with treating professional modern and contemporary dancers, she has experience and enjoys working with runners, athletes, weekend warriors, and movers of all types and ages. As a massage therapist for nine years, she specialized in deep tissue and sports massage, focusing on injury recovery and maintenance. She has danced professionally for various modern companies and choreographers extensively throughout California and has toured nationally.
In her free time, Daisy enjoys social dancing West Coast Swing, reading, taking dance class, seeing shows, and afternoon adventures in the city. She sits on the board of Selah Dance Collective in Santa Barbara, CA and continues to pursue her professional dance career as a guest artist with the company. Professionally, she continues to pursue dance medicine research and aspires to further pelvic floor coursework!
