Da Fu Wen received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy and Exercise Science degrees from the University at Buffalo. While completing his education, he discovered his passion for helping people achieve their physical goals. During his time at UB, Da Fu assisted clinical researchers in studying human physiologic conditions in extreme environments as part of his practicum. He also participated in the APTA Lobby Day with his colleagues to advocate for quality physical therapy services in the state of New York.
Da Fu’s diverse and enriched clinical experience provided him with knowledge in helping his clients across different populations with cardiopulmonary, neuromuscular, and musculoskeletal conditions. While at Montefiore, he researched the importance and conducted an in-service on the benefits of respiratory exercises in acute care COVID-19 patients, and educated staff members on management strategies. Da Fu also worked in three additional orthopedic-focused clinical rotations, where he competently treated different musculoskeletal conditions.
Da Fu believes in promoting physical activity for the well-being of our society. One of his biggest passions is to bridge the world of strength and condition with rehabilitation. In his spare time, Da Fu participates in seasonal competitive league soccer tournaments, while weight lifts and runs for fun. Da Fu also loves traveling, where he can learn and appreciate different cultures.
