Cory earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy at Seton Hall University and completed my undergraduate Bachelors in Science of kinesiology at James Madison University. At Seton Hall University, I completed two separate research projects: the effect of early mobilization on total hip replacements and how an improved shoulder rotational strength ratio predicts injury in the overhead athlete.
My clinical experience includes the general outpatient setting and Seton Hall Universities Sports Medicine department where I treated division 1 athletes. I also have experience with more medically complex patients from working at Mountainside Hospital in the acute care department.
I enjoy playing and coaching various sports including volleyball, baseball/softball, basketball, and more. In my free time I enjoy weightlifting, road biking and reading (especially the latest physical therapy research). I found my passion for physical therapy through the lens of an athlete and avid physical activity enthusiast. My goal is for all my patients to be able to move freely without having to worry about their condition or pain. I have a particular interest in working with athletes of all levels and getting them back to the playing field.
We pride ourselves on providing the most personalized physical therapy experience—setting a new standard of care that combines best-in-class clinical care with a patient-first mindset.
