Claire is originally from Colorado Springs, Colorado and received her bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo. There she was a member of the Cal Poly Triathlon team, Kinesiology Student Body, and an Adaptive Sports Lab instructor. She later went on to graduate Summa Cum Laude with her Doctorate of Occupational Therapy from The University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in San Diego, California.
Claire has a passion for upper extremity and hand therapy after experiencing a traumatic hand injury herself when she was a child. She has experience working with orthopedic cases, overuse injuries, splinting, geriatrics, home health, chronic pain, and mental health. She is an active listener and eager to work as a team with her patients to get them to their goals.
When Claire is not at work she enjoys an active lifestyle and spending time with her fiancé and Miniature Dachshund. Claire is passionate about travel, wine, and trying new restaurants in the city.
