Claire earned her Master of Occupational Therapy degree from Temple University in Philadelphia, where she served as a member of the Phi Theta Epsilon honors fraternity. She graduated from the University of Washington with a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood and Family Studies and a Minor in Disability Studies. At Temple Claire was actively involved in research, and specifically focused on understanding the role of OT in mental health.
Claire gained clinical experience both in person and through telehealth in a variety of settings prior to working at SPEAR. While at Temple, Claire spent time completing telehealth sessions with middle school students, travel training high school students with the Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA) and treating primarily upper extremity diagnoses at SPEAR Physical Therapy. After graduate school, Claire spent time working as an OT at the Phoenix Rehabilitation and Nursing Center where she treated a wide variety of diagnoses including strokes, Dementia, and orthopedic injuries.
Claire enjoys spending her free time traveling across the world with friends and flying home to San Francisco to see family. Since moving to New York, she loves exploring new restaurants and coffee shops in the city.
