Azmina is originally from Mumbai, India, and is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Exercise Science at Long Island University in Brooklyn, with an expected graduation in January 2026. She earned her Bachelor of Physical Therapy from the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences in Pune, India, building a strong academic foundation in biomechanics, exercise physiology, musculoskeletal & Neuro physical therapy with evidence-based rehabilitation.
Azmina brings diverse clinical experience from working in outpatient clinics, inpatient rehabilitation units, and community hospitals. She has treated patients across a wide range of specialties, including musculoskeletal conditions, post-surgical rehabilitation, neurological impairments, cardiopulmonary recovery, and geriatric care. Her collaborative approach emphasizes patient-centered treatment and interdisciplinary teamwork, helping to promote functional recovery while fostering trust and motivation in her patients. She believes that successful rehabilitation goes beyond physical recovery—it depends on creating an environment where patients feel safe, heard, and encouraged.
Outside of her professional work, Azmina enjoys exploring new neighborhoods, baking, and cooking. Looking ahead, she is passionate about advancing her expertise through continued education, with goals of pursuing certification in Pelvic Floor Therapy and Orthopedic Clinical Specialization (OCS) to further enhance the quality of care she provides.
