Angela earned her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from Hofstra University. At Hofstra, she was a member of the Student Occupational Therapy Association, and participated in fundraising, advocating, and educational opportunities. Prior, Angela graduated Summa Cum Laude from Adelphi University, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology.
Angela was first drawn to the field of OT due to her innate desire to help others improve their overall health and well-being. She has gained experience with orthopedic cases while working in an outpatient hand therapy clinic, as well as neurologic conditions including stroke, spinal cord, and traumatic brain injury during her acute-care clinical rotation. Angela is dedicated to her goal of becoming a Certified Hand Therapist to better help patients return to the activities that matter to them most.
Being from Long Island, Angela enjoys walking on the boardwalk and reading a book on the beach. In her free time, she stays active through Pilates and yoga classes, gardening, and spending quality time with friends & family. She is looking forward to relocating to NYC and experiencing all the city has to offer.
