Alyssa Reyes is the Clinical Director of our Upper West Side-W 92nd St location. Alyssa earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy, Masters in Anatomy and Clinical Health Science, and Bachelors in Exercise Science from the University of Delaware. Alyssa was involved in physical therapy research through both UD’s ADaPT program (Advancing Diversity in Physical Therapy) and the Peter White Fellowship as an undergraduate, and also served as the chairperson for Delaware’s SSIG (Student Special Interest Group) during the 2nd year of her graduate studies.
Alyssa’s passion for the profession stems from receiving an overwhelmingly positive experience to rehab for a rotator cuff injury in high school. She has experience in outpatient sports and orthopedics, outpatient neurology and geriatrics, pediatrics, inpatient acute care, and inpatient acute rehabilitation settings. Alyssa’s overall goal is to make a lasting impact on NYC’s community by increasing self-confidence by helping patients regain function.
Her clinical interests range from vestibular therapy and fall prevention to running analysis and rehabilitation. Although she was raised in Delaware, Alyssa has been happy to call NYC her home over the past few years. Her interests include running (and influencing her team to sign up for marathons with her), attending concerts, and exploring the cuisine that NYC has to offer.
We pride ourselves on providing the most personalized physical therapy experience—setting a new standard of care that combines best-in-class clinical care with a patient-first mindset.
