Aditi earned her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and Sport Studies at Rutgers University, NJ and her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from Salus University in Elkins Park, PA. During her time in undergrad Aditi volunteered at a nursing home, senior center, and hospital to gain experience with healthcare and various patient-facing roles. When beginning her undergrad studies, she sprained her knee and attended PT, where she discovered an interest in the rehab field. She worked as a PT/OT aide throughout her 4 years at Rutgers University before attending OT school with a strong interest in hand therapy.
During her graduate studies at Salus University, Aditi’s interest in orthopedics was confirmed when she completed a fieldwork rotation in outpatient hand therapy, where she was able to treat various conditions of the hand, wrist, and elbow as well as gain experience with custom splinting. Aditi has experience treating many upper extremity conditions including complex fractures, nerve compression, arthritis, amputations, tendonitis, tendon repairs, and generalized pain as well as treating post-surgical cases to optimize best functional outcomes. She also has experience fabricating custom orthoses for general/post-op recovery and deficits in ROM. Aditi’s goal as an occupational therapist is to help patients regain their function back to be able to complete all the things they love to do including work, sports, and household tasks, and hobbies. She is currently pursuing her certification in hand therapy (CHT) to gain expertise in her field and provide the best care for her patients.
Aditi was born in Queens, New York and raised in New Jersey for most of her life. In her free time, she loves going on long walks by the water, exploring restaurants and coffee
