Adeeb earned his B.S. in Human Biology with a minor in Psychology from the University at Albany. Originally from Westchester, NY, he decided to move to New York City to gain his A.S as a Physical Therapist Assistant from LaGuardia Community College. During his time at school, Adeeb started working as a Physical Therapist Technician in 2018. In 2021, he moved to Queens, NY and joined Spear PT as a Technician, where he was mentored by the phenomenal clinicians within the Spear PT network.
Adeeb’s clinical interests includes: manual therapy, joint mobilizations, and proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation (PNF) techniques. His clinical experience includes orthopedics, sports medicine, and out-patient rehabilitation. Adeeb has experience treating a variety of cases including athletes, non-operative, post-operative, and neurological conditions. Adeeb believes that patient education and enjoying the process is a vital part of the rehabilitation process.
Growing up, Adeeb had always been full of energy and participated in many sports and hobbies such as karate, football, lacrosse, ultimate frisbee, and skateboarding. Adeeb eventually found Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ) at the Renzo Gracie Academy HQ in Midtown and fell in love. Since this discovery, he has begun training to compete for Jiu Jitsu tournaments such as IBJJF. Since this discovery, Adeeb wanted to merge his passion for Physical Therapy and BJJ, so he had volunteered to assist combat athletes in their training camps by improving their health and function. Off the mats, Adeeb enjoys strength training, running, UFC, and keeping up with the latest health, fitness and physical therapy news developments.
He feels extremely satisfied when he helps our patients achieve their goals, there is no better feeling than giving someone the power to live their fullest and functional life. He connects his passion for Jiu Jitsu to his approach in therapy, because he sees every case as unique and believes that learning new techniques is very important, problems can have multiple solutions. He plans to pursue a certification as a Sports Certified Specialist (SCS).
