Aastha earned her Physical Therapy degree from Manipal Academy of Higher Education, India, graduating with distinction as the top student in her program. Her passion for movement science and human performance inspired her to pursue a Master’s in Applied Exercise Physiology at Teachers College, Columbia University.
Her clinical experience spans a variety of healthcare settings. She has worked at a tertiary care hospital, treating patients across departments such as orthopedics, neurology, cardiopulmonary rehabilitation, pediatrics, and women’s health. Aastha has managed cases involving post-operative recovery, musculoskeletal injuries, stroke, and balance impairments in older adults. During her work at an outpatient clinic in Mumbai, she gained hands-on experience in performance sports rehabilitation, collaborating closely with athletes and dancers to develop effective recovery programs. Her practice is guided by empathy, continuous learning, and the belief that empowering patients is key to successful outcomes.
Outside of work, Aastha enjoys dancing, cooking, and traveling. A true coffee lover, she enjoys discovering new cafés and restaurants around the city. With a deep love for the ocean, she aspires to become PADI-certified in scuba diving. She embraces life’s adventures, always eager to explore what lies ahead.
