Behind the Scenes: Our very first podcast recording included our Co-founder, President and CEO, Dan Rootenberg. His grasp on personal growth was loud and clear.
At SPEAR, we’re proud of the team we continue to build. We’re also proud of the relationships we’ve built with people outside of our facilities: our referring physicians, community members, and of course, our inspiring patients. They all have motivational stories to tell.
And for years we’ve wanted to share these stories—stories of the lives we’ve impacted, of the people we’ve helped become the best versions of themselves., and of the physicians whose personal passions fuel the fire to help others reach great heights. Whether they’re looking to improve on a record-setting athletic performance, or simply attempting to slow dance at their daughter’s upcoming wedding, each individual has a powerfully unique perspective and a story only they can tell.

Jay Asparro’s behind-the-scenes podcast footage, where he taught us about his extreme self-realization and focus.
For more than 18 years, we’ve used physical therapy as a means to help people reach their personal peak. Along the way, we’ve also built a sort of emotional, empathetic and psychological bond with our inspiring network.
It’s this bond that has driven us to share the deeply inspiring messages from so many we’ve connected with. As we transition to a new year, we believe we’ve found the most effective way to motivate and inspire the most people possible, outside of our facilities’ walls. We call it Embrace Your Core, and it’s more than just a podcast series – it’s our mission in action.

Through Embrace Your Core, SPEAR aims to empower YOU to become the best YOU possible, by embracing your talents from within. We’ll do that by sharing the viewpoints of the nation’s top physicians, physical therapists, athletes and thought leaders. These guests will tell us how they recognize their unique power of self, and will share how they apply that in their daily lives.
From aspirational stories that help motivate anyone to realize their optimal self, to tactical tips on maximizing personal achievement, Embrace Your Core hopes to give all its listeners practical advice and inspiration that extends beyond the physical therapy facility and into the everyday lives of New Yorkers.
We hope you follow along and learn a great deal. We hope you become excited and focused and even more productive. And most of all, we hope you embrace the core of who you truly are, and who you can become.
Sincerely,
Jamie Bryant
Director of Business Development, SPEAR Physical Therapy
