SPEAR Physical Therapy is proud to be the official Physical Therapy Provider of the 2K Classic benefiting the Wounded Warrior Project, for the second year in a row, as it returns to the “The World’s Most Famous Arena” November 16 & 17 for two days of exciting doubleheader basketball action!
The 2K Classic is an annual college basketball tournament played in November, at the beginning of the college basketball season, and televised by ESPN. Originally known as the Atlantic City Shootout, the tournament was first played in 1995.
The Wounded Warrior Project is the beneficiary of the 2K Classic. The mission of the Wounded Warrior Project (WWP) is to honor and empower wounded warriors. WWP’s purpose is to raise awareness and to enlist the public’s aid for the needs of injured service members, to help injured servicemen and women aid and assist each other, and to provide unique, direct programs and services to meet their needs. WWP is a national, nonpartisan organization headquartered in Jacksonville, Fla.
