Jocelyn earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, NY, after graduating from Syracuse University with her Bachelor of Science in Health and Exercise Science. Her passion for physical therapy stemmed from her time as a competitive dancer, beginning dance at 2 years old and participating in the competition circuit from the ages of 9 to 18. She continued her dance career while an undergraduate student, as a member of a Latin dance team at SU.
Throughout her DPT education, Jocelyn was able to treat a wide range of patients in both outpatient and inpatient settings. She has experience treating varying orthopedic conditions and sport-related injuries, as well as experience treating patients with neurological conditions such as Parkinson’s Disease and MS. She continued to foster her connection to the dance community by participating in dancer injury screenings with local dance studios in Syracuse. Jocelyn takes pride in forming strong connections with each of her patients in order to best serve them in their recovery and wellness.
Born and raised in The Bronx, Jocelyn looks forward to returning home to NYC and beginning her career. In her free time, she enjoys reading, listening to music, staying active, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.
