Armo earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Long Island University in downtown Brooklyn, New York. Prior to this, he completed his Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy at Tzi Chi University in Hualien, Taiwan. During his undergraduate studies, Armo was an active member of the school swimming team and served as the vice president of the cycling club.
In Taiwan, Armo worked as a Physical Therapist for two years, collaborating with a bike-fitting studio to assist cyclists. He also supported swimmers in an outpatient clinic, helping them achieve their competition and health goals.
During his clinical rotations in the US, Armo gained extensive experience with operative and non-operative orthopedic conditions in outpatient and inpatient settings. He also worked in acute care on the general medicine and emergency units. Armo’s treatment philosophy emphasizes the importance of a positive patient-therapist partnership to enhance patients’ lives through improved health and wellness. He firmly believes that utilizing evidence-based practice benefits his patients and helps them attain optimal quality of life.
Armo moved to the US three years ago. Outside of work, he enjoys staying active through swimming, cycling, playing volleyball, and exploring New York City as a new resident.
