Elena is a graduate of New York Institute of Technology’s combined Physical Therapy program where she received her Bachelor of Life Science degree & earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2018. After graduation, Elena accepted travel therapy contracts in New York, Virginia, and Massachusetts working in various clinical settings including outpatient clinics, subacute/acute care rehab, as well as homecare settings. Her focus includes orthopedic injuries and post-operative recovery ranging from the pediatric to the geriatric population. Elena’s priority is to create individualized programs to help her patients reach their movement goals.
Elena is also a Certified Lymphedema Therapist (CLT) having earned her certification from the Norton School in order to broaden her clinical skill set to include specialized treatment for patients with lymphedema. Her goal is to provide these patients with effective care and support, helping them manage symptoms and return to their previous activities without limitations.
In her free time, Elena is a black belt in a martial arts style called Soo Bahk Do and teaches at a studio on Long Island. She also is an avid rock climber and enjoys to crochet and make gifts for family and friends.
