Marisa earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Hunter College and graduated summa cum laude in Nutrition and Exercise Sciences, with a minor in Psychology, from Queens College.
Marisa’s clinical experience spans a diverse range of settings, including school-based pediatrics, geriatrics, skilled nursing, outpatient orthopedics, and acute care. She has gained experience treating a wide range of conditions, from developmental delays to cardiopulmonary conditions, neurological disorders, pre- and post-operative care, and orthopedic injuries.
Driven by a passion for learning, Marisa continually seeks out opportunities for professional growth. She has enhanced her skills through additional training with the Institute of Physical Art (IPA), ensuring she stays up to date with the latest evidence-based practices. Marisa is committed to delivering holistic care. She tailors each treatment plan to cater to the unique physical and emotional needs of her patients, aligning with their individual goals and circumstances.
Beyond her professional endeavors, Marisa enjoys uncovering all that NYC has to offer, and venturing to new destinations through travel. She also finds pleasure in exploring new culinary experiences, immersing herself in captivating reads, and expressing her creativity through baking.
