Julia earned her Master’s of Science in Occupational Therapy from SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University in Brooklyn, NY and her Bachelors of Science in Psychology from Fordham University in the Bronx, New York.
During her clinical rotations, she was able to provide care to a diverse population of patients, including neurological, pediatric, orthopedic, and psychological conditions. Julia has a passion for pelvic floor therapy and has completed extensive continuing education in pelvic health through Herman & Wallace. She has particular interest in return to intimacy, prenatal and postpartum, urinary incontinence and breathwork. Julia is passionate about the mind body connection and prioritizes a holistic approach for creating optimal results with her patients. She is an active listener and partners with each patient to set goals and map out a plan to achieve them. From pelvic floor to upper extremity conditions, she feels that occupational therapy can help her patients gain insight into themselves and engage in meaningful activities as independent and pain free as possible.
Outside the clinic, Julia enjoys spending her free time with her family and friends. She enjoys reading, traveling, and listening to music. Julia likes staying active through yoga, pilates, and volleyball.
