Avani is a compassionate and skilled physical therapist, licensed since 2019, with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from Touro College and a Master’s in Kinesiology (Exercise Science) from California Baptist University. Originally from India, she completed her undergraduate training in physiotherapy at Charusat University, gaining diverse clinical experience in orthopedics, neurology, cardiology, and pediatrics.
With a solid foundation in musculoskeletal care, Avani found her true passion in pelvic health to empower women. She is certified by the Herman & Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute and is highly experienced in managing complex pelvic pain conditions such as endometriosis, fibroids, PCOD/PCOS, Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS), and vaginismus. Her expertise also extends to prenatal care, labor and delivery preparation, and postpartum recovery.
In addition, Avani treats bladder and bowel dysfunctions—including urinary urgency/frequency, incontinence, chronic constipation, gastrointestinal issues—as well as complex abdominal surgeries and pelvic/hip conditions. She is also trained in pelvic floor muscle rehabilitation for pelvic organ prolapse and the use of pessary support.
Avani takes a holistic, individualized approach to care, striving to help patients move better and live pain-free. She values close collaboration with other healthcare providers and remains committed to lifelong learning, staying current with the latest in women’s health research to better support her patients.
When she’s not working, Avani enjoys dancing, experimenting in the kitchen, exploring the outdoors, and spending time with her husband.
