Nisha earned her Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy at Columbia University, where she also held a class-appointed leadership position. She obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Nisha has diverse clinical experience encompassing areas of pediatrics, hospital acute care, behavioral health, geriatric and orthopedic outpatient populations. During her clinical experience at SPEAR, she gained extensive knowledge in treating orthopedic and neuromuscular injuries of the upper extremities, specializing in hand, elbow, and shoulder rehabilitation. Nisha’s approach is rooted in a commitment to providing individualized, client-centered care. She is passionate about empowering each patient on their unique journey toward recovery, helping them achieve their therapeutic goals and restore their previous level of functioning.
In her free time, Nisha enjoys artistic endeavors, particularly watercolor painting, and clay sculpting. She is also an avid traveler and enjoys hiking, backpacking, and trying out new food wherever she goes.
