Having earned a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from SUNY Downstate Medical University in Brooklyn, New York, Daniel is a highly qualified healthcare professional. In addition, he holds a Bachelor of Science in Health Services from SUNY Downstate and a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science with a minor in Business from Montclair State University in Montclair, New Jersey.
During his time at Montclair State University, Daniel played Ice Hockey, volunteered with youth sports camps, and worked as a strength and conditioning coach. In his senior year, he was even elected as team Captain of the university’s Ice Hockey team. In addition, Daniel had the opportunity to intern at Parisi Speed School in Fair Lawn, New Jersey, where he worked with elite high school, college, and professional athletes. He collaborated with aspiring Division 1 and 3 collegiate athletes as well as players from the New York Jets, New York Giants, Baltimore Ravens, and Kansas City Chiefs.
During his clinical rotations, Daniel gained extensive experience working with a diverse range of operative and non-operative orthopedic conditions, both in outpatient and inpatient settings. He also spent time in acute care on the general medicine, cardiothoracic surgery, neurocritical, and wound care units. Daniel firmly believes in using evidence-based practice to provide the best possible care to his patients and help them achieve and maintain optimal quality of life.
Interestingly, Daniel also has a unique perspective on working with the geriatric population, as he is currently the primary caregiver for his grandfather, assisting him in recovering from several health issues.
In his free time, Daniel enjoys Olympic weightlifting, strength training, skiing, playing hockey, and spending quality time with his loved ones.
