Janelle earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy, and Bachelor of Health Sciences with a concentration in Psychology from Quinnipiac University. During graduate school she was involved with EQUIP Rehabilitation, a pro-bono physical therapy clinic created by the members of the QU PT program. She was a part of the sub-group, Go Baby Go, a program that modified ride-on cars to provide children with mobility impairments a means to engage with their environment and improve socialization.
Janelle’s interest in Physical Therapy was sparked by many years of participating in athletics, playing both soccer and running track. Janelle has clinical experience in orthopedics, sports-rehabilitation, neuro-rehabilitation, cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation, and post-operative injuries. She uses these experiences to guide her development of creative and personalized exercise programs for her patients to achieve their goals and return to lifestyles they enjoy!
Outside of work, Janelle loves running, hiking, skiing, and spending time with family and friends. She loves experiencing new cultures through travel and trying new foods.
