Jose “Joey” Lanzona earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy from Rutgers University School of Health Professions. As a DPT student, he led academic and career development initiatives with his cohort by promoting the PT profession to undergraduate students, connecting LGBTQIA+ healthcare professional students together, and educating classmates on current events centering around infectious diseases such as HIV/AIDS and MonkeyPox. Joey is engaged in developing events to promote community care and awareness.
Professionally, Joey possesses training from the Academy of Physical Therapy Pelvic Health (PH1), Herman & Wallace (HW2C), and Aspire OMT (COMT1). They are passionate in eliminating stigma associated with bowel & bladder disorders, sexual health, and more. He enjoys working with athletes of all ages and caliber, from runners to dancers to nightlife entertainers.
Joey loves karaoke, dancing, and lattes.
