John graduated from Ithaca College, where he earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree and his Bachelor of Science in Clinical Health Studies, with a minor in Sport and Exercise Psychology. During his time at Ithaca, he participated in two faculty-led research studies that examined the reliability of physical therapists’ assessments of lumbar mobility and the impact of spinal manipulation on mobility, pain, and disability. John received the Professional Excellence Award and was inducted into the Alpha Eta Society during his final year at Ithaca in recognition of his academic performance, leadership, and service.
John’s interest in the profession stems from the positive rehab experiences he had following multiple ankle injuries in high school. During his clinical rotations, he gained hands-on experience treating a wide range of orthopedic, neurological, and cardiovascular conditions. He is passionate about delivering patient-centered care that emphasizes a holistic, evidence-based approach, empowering individuals to return to the activities they love. John aspires to become an orthopedic clinical specialist, aiming to further refine his skills in manual therapy and therapeutic exercise.
Outside of the clinic, John enjoys staying active through playing soccer, tennis, and going to the gym. He’s also an avid traveler, always eager to explore new cultures and cuisines firsthand. You can often find him at a local coffee shop, immersed in a good book.
