Anna received her Doctor of Occupational Therapy degree from Georgia State University, where she gained experience through volunteer work, leadership, and research. She contributed to projects on virtual interventions for upper extremity rehabilitation and protocols to improve satisfaction with assistive technology. Anna completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Virginia, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology with a minor in Psychology. While at UVA, she interned with the school’s Division I athletic program, learning from athletic trainers and supporting teams, including football and field hockey.
Anna has a passion for helping clients regain function and independence in the activities that matter most to them. She has experience in outpatient orthopedics, brain injury rehabilitation, and acute medical settings, through which she has developed a specific focus on the upper extremity. Anna values creating collaborative, supportive relationships with her clients in order to achieve their goals. She aims to address not only physical function, but also the mental and emotional components that contribute to recovery and quality of life.
As a former competitive swimmer and coach, Anna still enjoys swimming for fun and staying active through weightlifting, yoga, pilates, and running. She is also an avid reader and loves adventures like hiking, traveling, and exploring new parts of the city.
