Şükriye holds a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation from Yeditepe University in Istanbul, Türkiye, where she also completed her Master’s degree in Sports Physiotherapy. Her thesis research focused on “Effects of Telerehabilitation-Based Motor and Cognitive Dual Task Exercises in Patients With Parkinson’s Disease,” reflecting her strong interest in neurorehabilitation and innovative, technology-supported treatment approaches.
As part of the Erasmus program, Şükriye received advanced training and completed an internship in Spinal Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy in the Netherlands, where she gained international clinical experience and enhanced her knowledge in evidence-based physiotherapy practices.
Şükriye holds certifications in Reformer and Mat Pilates, as well as in Upper Quarter Mulligan Concept Manual Therapy, which she integrates into her therapeutic sessions to enhance joint mobility and reduce pain through gentle, active mobilizations. She believes in treating the body as a whole and is passionate about developing personalized treatment plans tailored to each client’s specific needs and goals.
Through various internships and work experiences, she has developed diverse expertise in chronic and acute pain, musculoskeletal conditions, and sports-related injuries. In addition to her clinical experience, Şükriye owned and operated her own private physiotherapy clinic in Türkiye for two years, where she provided one-on-one care and designed rehabilitation programs for a wide range of clients.
Currently, she is also pursuing her second Master’s degree—an MBA—in Tennessee, further expanding her expertise in healthcare management and leadership.
