Sakshi is a licensed physical therapist in New York with a strong background in orthopedic, musculoskeletal, and sports rehabilitation. She earned her Bachelor’s in Physiotherapy from Delhi Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research University, during her internship she completed intensive clinical rotations in orthopedics, neurology, pediatrics, and cardiopulmonary care. In 2023, she began her Master’s in Health and Exercise Science (Exercise Physiology) at the University of Oklahoma, receiving a fully funded scholarship for her academic and research achievements. During her graduate program, she also earned certifications in First Aid and CPR and served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant in Nutrition.
Sakshi’s professional experience includes working as a Fitness Instructor at the University of Oklahoma and completing a clinical internship at PT Central Clinic, where she gained hands-on exposure to U.S. physical therapy practices under expert supervision. Before moving to the U.S., she served as a physiotherapist at several high-profile sporting events, including the Asian U-14 Tennis Championship, 3-Nation Veterans Football Cup, ITF-J4 Tennis Tournament, the Vedanta Delhi Half Marathon, and many more. She also holds a Yoga Teacher Training Certification, which contributes a holistic dimension to her therapeutic approach, integrating movement, mindfulness, and recovery. After successfully clearing the U.S. licensure exam, she is proud to be a part of Spear, an organization known for clinical excellence and outstanding patient care.
She believes that open and empathetic communication is a key for every successful healing. she is deeply committed to helping each individual meet their functional goals with confidence and support. Outside of the clinic, Sakshi enjoys traveling, spending quality time with friends and family, and writing Hindi poetry. For her, physical therapy is not just a profession, it is a way to uplift others through movement, presence, and compassion.
