Ian completed his undergraduate education at Binghamton University and later went on to earn a Master’s Degree in Exercise Physiology and Kinesiology from the University of Florida. Ian graduated with his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from SUNY Downstate in Brooklyn.
During his time at Binghamton, Ian walked on to a Division I baseball team as a pitcher, choosing to play Club ball instead. Later, in Florida, Ian developed a passion for running and completed his first marathon in 2015. He has since run over 20 marathons and ultra-marathons. As the esteemed father of two young boys, Ian is most proud of his personal best 5K race time of 18:05 while pushing his oldest son in a stroller.
Ian entered the physical therapy world first as a patient recovering from a torn ACL and subsequent reconstruction surgery. As a student, Ian worked in both acute inpatient and orthopedic outpatient settings at Kings County Hospital and a variety of private clinics. Ian enjoys the challenge of helping recreational and competitive athletes and runners return to sport but has also had tremendous success in treating patients of all ages, abilities and injuries.
Outside of work, Ian enjoys playing baseball and basketball, running and spending time with his wife and kids.
