Ceren’s passion for the human body began at age 10 through her love of volleyball. At 12, inspired by her father’s recovery from a severe orthopedic injury, she knew she wanted to pursue a career in physical therapy. Ceren has studied health sciences internationally, both in Turkiye and the Netherlands. Ceren continued her education in the U.S., completing a Master’s in Kinesiology and Exercise Science at California State University, Los Angeles, where she also served as a teaching assistant for courses such as Introduction to Yoga, Kinesiology, Exercise Physiology, and Anatomy. She presented her study on baseball players at SWASCM 2023 and CPTA Long Beach 2023, and graduated with the Outstanding Graduate Student Award from CSULA.
Ceren holds certifications in reformer and mat Pilates, as well as yoga. Ceren believes in treating the body as a whole, integrating various approaches to create personalized treatment plans tailored to each client’s unique needs. Through various internships and work experiences, she has gained diverse expertise in chronic and acute pain, musculoskeletal conditions, sports-related injuries, and prenatal physical therapy. Ceren is currently a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant in New York State.
Outside of work, Ceren enjoys connecting with her big family and friends in Turkiye, exploring new restaurants, and cooking. She is very into learning new cultures. As a coffee enthusiast, she loves visiting unique cafés to read and relax. Fitness is also a significant part of her life and she enjoys group HIIT, Pilates, and yoga classes. Having recently moved from Los Angeles to New York, she is excited to explore this vibrant city.
