Shira earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University. Before attending graduate school, she obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Brooklyn College and an Associate of Science in Biology with a concentration in Allied Health from Kingsborough Community College.
Shira’s clinical expertise spans pediatric to geriatric populations across outpatient, school-based, and acute care settings. She is committed to providing personalized, holistic rehabilitation, emphasizing the body’s natural capacity for healing, injury prevention, and overall well-being through physical activity.
Passionate about pelvic floor therapy, Shira is currently pursuing certification as a Pelvic Rehabilitation Practitioner through Herman & Wallace. In her free time, she enjoys running outdoors, practicing yoga, and preparing nutritious plant-based meals.
