Jaquon earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Hunter College, a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Brooklyn College, and an Associate of Science from the Borough of Manhattan Community College. His passion for physical therapy began at the age of 15 after suffering a partially torn meniscus in his right knee during a basketball pickup game. The successful rehabilitation he received from a physical therapist helped him return to his daily activities and sparked his desire to pursue a career in helping others recover from unexpected injuries.
During his DPT education, Jaquon worked with a wide variety of clients in both outpatient and inpatient settings, treating conditions such as Achilles tendon repairs, bicipital tendinitis, multiple sclerosis, and Osgood-Schlatter disease. His clinical experience has given him a natural ability to build rapport with clients, prevent injuries, and create personalized treatment plans. He is also skilled in cupping massage/mobilization and kinesio taping.
Born and raised in Brooklyn, Jaquon enjoys playing basketball, dancing in hip hop and dancehall styles, strength training, roller-skating, and watching hours of boxing. He is approachable, easy to talk to, and has a welcoming presence that keeps clients coming back.
