Matthew graduated from Marymount University where he earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree after completing his Bachelor of Science in athletic training from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. During his studies at Marymount University, he gained experience in outpatient orthopedics, sports orthopedics, and neuro rehabilitation. Matthew had the opportunity to complete research on “Physical Therapist Management of Concomitant Cervicalgia with Cervicogenic Headaches in a 29-Year-Old Female: A Case Report” where he presented at Marymount University’s student research conference.
Matthew’s interest in physical therapy and the sports medicine field stems from his love for sports. He grew up playing football, soccer, and basketball and, as such, learned to appreciate the importance of injury prevention, movement patterns, and returning individuals to their sports/activities as soon and as safely as possible.
In Matthew’s free time, he tries to perfect his golf game, watch sports, and spend time with friends and family. Matthew grew up in Mt. Airy, Maryland and loves to explore his new home of NYC.
